My Approach

Understanding your experience, together.

I believe our experiences make sense in the context of our lives, our relationships, and the ways we've learned to navigate the world.

Sometimes, we find ourselves in patterns we don't fully understand. We may know why we respond a certain way and still find ourselves responding that way. We might feel pulled in different directions, disconnected from ourselves, or unsure how to make sense of what we're feeling.

I'm interested in understanding those experiences with you. Not making assumptions about what they mean, or deciding for you what needs to change, but creating space to slow down, notice, and explore.

Our work may include looking at the ways you relate to others, the expectations you carry, the parts of yourself that show up in difficult moments, or the experiences that have shaped how you see yourself. We can pay attention to what happens emotionally, in your body, and in your relationships, at a pace that feels manageable.

My approach is relational and integrative, drawing from attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, parts work, EMDR, ACT, and Polyvagal-informed perspectives. I bring these approaches into our work thoughtfully, guided by your experiences, needs, and goals rather than a one-size-fits-all process.

I don't expect you to arrive with the right words or a clear understanding of what is happening. We can begin wherever you are.

For me, therapy is a place where your experience can be met with curiosity, where things can begin to make more sense, and where new possibilities can emerge.
